Salary and expenses as of November 2023
The Police and Crime Commissioner for Hampshire receives an annual salary of £88,600.08.
The Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner for Hampshire receives an annual salary of £66,925.08.
Police and Crime Commissioner and Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner Expenses
The Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner are entitled to claim for authorised allowances in respect of expenses incurred while carrying out PCC functions. Further details of the allowances that they can claim for are contained within the Police and Crime Commissioner Expenses Scheme.
Expenditure
These items of expenditure have been incurred by the Police and Crime Commissioner and the Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner in relation to travel, accommodation and subsistence in the exercise of their respective duties. The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner ensures that the most cost effective means of meeting the business needs of the office are used. The expenses of the Commissioner and Deputy are scrutinised by the Chief of Staff as monitoring officer to ensure that value for money is achieved and that the most suitable mode of transport is used for the business requirement. Complaints
Complaints against the Commissioner or Deputy are handled by the Hampshire Police and Crime Panel. They will be brought to the attention of the Commissioner either because they have been referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) or because they are being subjected to informal resolution by the panel. The number and nature of complaints are published as a formal report to the Police and Crime Panel on an annual basis.
