Join the Police and Crime Commissioner’s Youth Commission and make a difference

The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Youth Commission is seeking new members aged 14-25. The Youth Commission acts as the voice of young people, informing and supporting Police and Crime Commissioner, Michael Lane, in his work and helping him to challenge the Chief Constable on areas that are of importance to young people.

Southampton Safer Streets investment

Earlier this year, the Police and Crime Commissioner was able to secure £550,000 from the Home Office’s Safer Streets Fund – a fund designed to enable PCCs to work with their partners to invest in proven interventions to prevent crime in the areas that are worst affected by acquisitive crime.
