Funding

The Police and Crime Commissioner, through the Commissioning and Partnerships Team, works to reduce crime and disorder including anti-social behaviour and other behaviour adversely affecting the environment.

She provides funding to support victims of crime helping recovery and to support policing to aid the prevention of crime and reduction of offending.

Reducing crime and promoting public safety cannot be delivered by the police alone. We all have an important role to play.  Effective partnerships  prevent duplication, reduce costs, and tackle issues using a joined-up approach.

The PCC provides regular opportunities to bid for grant funding and invites organisations to explain how they can work together to achieve her vision and improve community safety by looking for new and exciting approaches, whilst still supporting those ideas that have been proven to work.
