It’s all about cyber at Crofton

14 December 2016

The Youth Commission’s cyber safety group held a workshop for 218 year eight students around internet safety this week.

The members talked through their #GoFISH campaign, designed to help young people find internet safety help. They discussed subjects such as ‘what is cyberbullying and sexting?’ and gave advice on how to report anything that makes them feel uncomfortable.

Students examined whether behaviour was bullying or banter and participated in a kahoot quiz to ensure they had taken on board the messages shared with them.
