PCC announces her Christmas card competition winner and thanks all the children who took part

20 December 2023

The Police and Crime Commissioner, Donna Jones, has revealed this year’s winning design for her Christmas card.

The PCC launched her annual festive design competition for all children of serving police officers and police staff in October.

This year’s theme was ‘North Pole Police’ and the PCC was inundated with lots of creative designs.

Nine year old Benjamin was this year’s winner while Ella, aged 15, was the runner-up and 11 year old Theo came third.

The winning design (above) will be seen by hundreds across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, including a card sent to the Prime Minister.

PCC Donna Jones said: “We received so many fantastic designs and it was very hard to pick a winner as they were all really colourful and imaginative.

“Thank you so much to everyone who took part – I was really impressed with the response and look forward to receiving more designs next year.”

The winner receives a £50 voucher for a shop of their choosing with the second and third placed entries receive vouchers for £30 and £20 respectively. All children who entered will receive a personal letter of thanks from the Police Commissioner.
