Police and Crime Commissioner, Donna Jones, has taken Kit Malthouse MP, Minister for Crime and Policing, around the Charles Dickens Ward in Portsmouth to hear from local residents the difference the Safer Streets project will make to the community.

Earlier this year, the Police and Crime Commissioner was able to secure £550,000 from the Home Office’s Safer Streets Fund – a fund designed to enable PCCs to work with their partners to invest in proven interventions to prevent crime in the areas that are worst affected by acquisitive crime.
