Under the PCSC Act 2022, the VRP have to publish mandatory products to show that we understand what is causing violence in our communities and we have a Response Strategy to show our collaborative plan to tackle violence together.Β We then review our activity and publish an Annual Report to check we achieved what we have set out to do.

Every year we undertake a serious of engagement activities with children and young people to understand their perspective of serious violence and knife crime and how it affect them and the communities we live in. We use a serious violence and knife crime survey to gather their views. The survey is open all year round and once a year we use the results to inform our Strategic Needs Assessment (SNA).
